The busy month of July!

We entered this month under the energy of a Cancer New Moon on June 28th, highlighting feelings and emotions, home, family and self-nurturance. Then on the 1st of July, we encountered a potentially explosive aspect between Mars in his Aries rulership squaring off with Pluto in Capricorn. As if we aren’t already aware of all the contentious anger and violence in the world and in our country! Yes, Mars needs an outlet to express pent up anger over injustice, but aggression isn’t the answer. Use Mars ability to direct itself toward what it desires with assertion that allows for a new path to changing the status quo of what isn’t working in your life. Letting go of the old is essential!

In the US, we are experiencing our Pluto Return, which rules the hidden area of the 12th house in the US chart, under the auspices of Scorpio, bringing corruption, secrets and crumbling financial systems out of the darkness for a chance to rebuild, once the destruction is complete. Pluto is the planet of power and transformation and will take us past the point of no return. Once we realize this and accept that the old ways are no longer working, then we can begin the process of rebuilding. On a more personal level, wherever you have Pluto in your birth chart and whatever area is currently being visited by transiting Pluto, is where you have been experiencing turmoil and have the opportunity for regeneration!
