Lunar Eclipse Pisces Full Moon

The Full Moon takes place on Tuesday, Sept. 17th at 10:34pm in the 26th degree of Pisces, whose Sabian Symbol is "a New Moon that divides its influence." Having a Full Moon with the symbol of a New Moon prominent as the image for this degree was a bit confusing at first, but thinking about it, it started to make sense to me.

Here we have a Lunar Eclipse in Pisces, the last sign of the Zodiac which is ruled by Neptune, and the Moon is also conjunct Neptune. Tuning into our intuitive, sensitive and compassionate self and allowing Spirit to move through us is one way to connect with and use this energy. Another way is through artistic or creative expression.

Both require taking some time out from the mundane world to relax, unwind and unplug from the cacophony of everything swirling around us in this fast-paced world. Meditation, sitting in a garden listening to the birds or walking along a path through nature are wonderful ways to do this.

A Grand Trine in Earth signs joins together the Sun in Virgo, Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn. Being practical and taking care of business ought not be too hard in this Lunar Eclipse cycle. And with both Pluto and Uranus making very helpful sextiles to Neptune, it's time to go with the flow and image your desired future. This is an opportunity to get in touch with your fondest desires and spend time visualizing your preferred outcome.

A word of caution here with all of the Piscean energy - avoid drugs, alcohol and other escapist behaviors that will pull you backwards. Instead, reflect on any less-than-desirable habits or relationships you'd like to let go of and begin removing those negative influences from your life. Also try to be as realistic as possible so that you don't just build castles in the sky!

Remember to stay grounded, center yourself everyday and keep looking forward with hope, eliminating fear.
